Following our successful international growth strategy, we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced

Specification Specialist / A&D consultant

based in Bucharest (acting from Home Office)

In close cooperation with the Specification Manager Romania and the central organisation in France, the Specification Specialist is mainly focussed on visiting architects, designers and specifiers in order to bring our Gerflor flooring solutions into the specification of new building projects in Romania.

Your role:

• Identify, call and visit architects, designers, end-users and local authorities in the Bucharest Area to consult them on the Gerflor product portfolio
• Win specifications based on a qualitative consulting approach, “lunch and learn” sessions and strategic networking
• Manage an existing customer base of Architects & Designers (A&D community) and win new customers in line with our sales strategy
• Support the Specification Manager in the management of running projects and ensure a constant flow of information to the involved stakeholder (Romanian sales team, specification manager, distributors, etc.)
• Get the Gerflor products specified across all segments (Healthcare, Education, Retail, Industry, Sports, etc.)
• Consistent follow-up of projects and specification processes, incl. documentation and tracking in the CRM system
• Provide market research concerning competition, distribution, product trends, standards, etc.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and specification in the building materials industry – ideally within the flooring business
• Experience in the specification process of building projects
• Proactive sales approach, self-starter attitude and natural networker – entrepreneurial experience would be a benefit
• Very good self-organisation and planning skills
• Knowledge of CRM systems and structured project follow-up process
• Business fluent Romanian and good English skills (speaking and writing)
• Driving license
