What we’re looking for

Venatus is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to drive the quality assurance strategy and execution for Venatus suite of products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through leadership, test planning, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated testing frameworks for the different components of the Venatus tech platform - from front end to back end to data pipelines

• Develop, implement, and oversee test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure high-quality software releases.

• Design and execute automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

• Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, DevOps) to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Establish and monitor key quality metrics, driving continuous improvement in test effectiveness and efficiency.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging QA tools, trends, and best practices to enhance the testing process.

• Advocate for quality standards and practices across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL) and building custom end to end automation tools

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

• Experience with testing data pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.

• Experience in digital advertising or AdTech is a plus.
