B2B Sales Experience: Minimum 2.5-5 years in business-to-business inside sales or account development, preferably in fragrance, air care, beauty, or a product-based manufacturing environment. Customer Service Background: Proven experience handling order processing, client follow-ups, and post-sale care with a high level of sensitivity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Industry Familiarity (Preferred): Prior work in fragrance, essential oils, cosmetics, or similar sectors is highly preferred to ensure a strong grasp of product applications and client expectations. Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and confidently manage outreach, handle client inquiries, and maintain long-term rapport. CRM & Order System Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools, order management systems, and email platforms to track sales activities, order statuses, and customer interactions. Initiative & Follow-Through: Self-motivated, organized, and persistent - able to stay on top of open opportunities, manage timelines, and push accounts forward without dropping the ball.
Core responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively research, vet, and engage potential B2B clients in the fragrance, air care, cosmetic, and personal care sectors to drive new business opportunities and expand market presence. Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with both large and small clients, ensuring orders are processed accurately, updates are communicated promptly, and all customer needs are met with care and professionalism. Order Oversight & Fulfillment Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle - from confirmation and system entry to fulfillment, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction throughout. Re-Engagement & Follow-Up: Monitor lapsed or inactive accounts; initiate strategic follow-ups via email and CRM to reignite interest and encourage repeat purchases from prior leads or clients. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including perfumers, logistics, and production, to ensure order accuracy, fulfillment timelines, and alignment with client specifications. Account Growth & Upselling: Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through personalized upsell strategies, additional scent development services, or complementary product offerings.
