Position Summary:

Responsible for supporting pricing solution and analytics in RevX. Responsibilities include but not limited to troubleshoot and potentially fix data and systems issues in the pricing software (PriceFx); monitor and support scheduled data ETL and manual data refresh jobs to ensure that data is refreshed on an ongoing basis from various internal and external data sources; setup and maintain access for RevX; support data extracts and analytics as needed for various business analysis; enhance pricing solution based on changing business needs; act as a liaison between IT, business and 3rd party vendors supporting the solution; design and build out KPIs and analytics pertaining to RevX partnering with cross functional team members as needed;  assist in design, development and launch of the pricing optimization solution at Ventura Foods; train users on features and functionalities of the tool; aid in security compliance and upgrades as needed by the organization/vendor; Aid in building an internal resource guide for documentation and training of the tool; communicate upgrades, issues, outages, and critical business messages to the various cross-functional stakeholders; Act as the initial POC for the Product Management team; aid in the role out of customers onto the RevX platform helping to improve internal process and remove roadblocks as they arise.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sustain Pricing solution on ongoing basis. Including setting up and removing users, aiding in the build out and maintenance of Live Price Grids (LPGs), aiding in the rollout of new customers onto the RevX platform, training on major releases and enhancements, ad hoc training as needed for new employees, troubleshoot and resolve data and system issues as they arise. Monitor and support scheduled data ETL jobs to ensure data is refreshed on daily basis, perform manual data loads weekly/monthly as needed for external data sources.
  • Drive the analytics surrounding PriceFX primarily aiding in the creation and maintenance of baseline KPIs and metrics, partner with PriceFx to understand their internal BI system and how it can be leveraged to develop custom dashboards within the solution, utilize Ventura Foods internal BI tool MicroStrategy to build dashboards as needed pertaining to RevX analytics.
  • Enhance solution as drive by business needs. Work closely with the Product Management team to understand new needs as it relates to pricing. Asses the need, and work with 3rd party vendors to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions if feasible. 
  • Communicate to various stakeholders on major releases, enhancements, outage, and issue resolution etc. Act as liaison with IT and 3rd party vendors to address technical and integration issues, or handle upgrades, as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or similar equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in system administration of enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) experience. Administration and support of Pricing Solution preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring functionality, triaging and reporting/resolving issues in collaboration with 3rd party vendors.
  • Experience with monitoring integrations, reporting and resolving issues in collaboration with other technical team members and 3rd party members.
  • Experience with BI software and dashboard buildout preferably MicroStrategy.
  • 2-years + Prior experience with SQL is needed.
  • Prior experience with any programming language/script, Java/Groovy a plus.
  • Sales & Marketing CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com, MS Dynamics, SAP C4C) tool familiarity/experience a plus.
  • Exposure or knowledge in ERP platforms (SAP, AS400, JDE) a plus.
  • Experience in AI/ML also a plus.

  • Experience with SQL and BI tools needed.
  • Prior experience with any programming language/script, Java/Groovy a plus.
  • Ability to give/receive constructive feedback, influence, and lead a team based approach to decision making.
