The Veeva Curriculum Developer creates innovative learning content for Veeva customers, partners, and employees looking to build industry-relevant Veeva software skills. In this role, you will develop course assets to improve the ongoing relevance and value of our flagship Veeva Submissions Publishing eLearning program. This library of engaging, digestible, self-paced lessons is designed to educate users on how to publish compliant submissions using Veeva RIM. Learn more about this offering here.
A successful candidate in this role brings a strong background in curriculum development for Global eCTD Submission Publishing and instructional design. You must be comfortable working autonomously as well as with SMEs and stakeholders and have a natural affinity for gaining deep expertise yourself. What You'll do
Conduct instructional research and task analysis on the learner and role context that incorporates a real-world point of view
Use modern authoring tools to build, deploy, and update courses and supporting materials in the appropriate interactive formats (video, graphic design, e-Learning)
Develop training content that is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements for regulatory submissions, Regional Health Authority guidances, ICH guidelines, eCTD standards (including 4.0), and other relevant standards
Translate complex technical subjects into clear and concise instructions for both functional and technical users
Manage the end-to-end curriculum development process, from initial analysis to design, development, implementation, and evaluation
Work cross-functionally with SMEs and stakeholders to validate learning objectives, technical accuracy, and incorporate feedback
Develop expertise in Veeva RIM and Vault Platform technologies, earning certifications as appropriate to the job role
Drive projects with accuracy, transparency, and a commitment to meeting deadlines
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance training delivery methods
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3+ years of curriculum development experience, including:
Writing administrator or technical learning content for software products
Expertise using a variety of tools to create and publish interactive courseware (such as Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, WellSaid, and learning management systems)
Excellent written, visual design, and verbal communication skills
5+ years of Publishing experience, preferably with multiple software tools (Insight Publisher, Lorenz, eCTD Xpress, etc)
Solid understanding of requirements and specifics needed for Submission publishing
Ability to review specifications and new product features to determine the impact on Submission publishing
Ability to review and troubleshoot Submission Publishing problems/failures and validation results with confidence
Consistent track record of accountability in delivering quality projects on time
Ability to both collaborate and work independently in a high-performing, fast-paced team
Strong interpersonal skills with the initiative to build collaborative, productive relationships across all lines of business
Demonstrated ability to flexibly take on new challenges and pivot direction if needed
Nice to Have
Experience with Veeva products or similar life science platforms
Shareable work portfolio of previously developed course materials
10+ years of direct Submission publishing experience

Compensation
Base pay: $75,000- $125,000
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
