The VP, Engagement Strategy is responsible for ensuring the quality of strategic deliverables for your clients. You will be leading and overseeing a team of engagement strategists. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves, see-the-big-picture, and understand-the-details kind of job.
 

What you'll do:
  • Lead the creation of customer engagement strategies that align with the client’s business objectives and growth targets
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engagement professionals to execute on engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee the development of omni-channel engagement plans, personas, journey maps, ecosystems.
  • Clearly communicate and present ideas, POVs, and strategies to internal teams, clients, and prospective clients
  • Collaborate with various internal departments such as brand planning, media, account and creative to ensure alignment across all touchpoints, driving both short-term and long-term engagement initiatives
  • Leverage customer data and insights to design engagement strategies that enhance customer experience.
  • Present data and engagement results to executive leadership to demonstrate the impact of strategies.
  • Advise Strategists, Account leads, Scientific Directors and Creative Directors to create tight, inspiring creative briefs
  • Use data insights to optimize and refine engagement efforts and recommend new tactics to improve results.
  • Experience building and facilitating client workshops
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to customer engagement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging continuous improvement in engagement strategies

  • About you:

  • Must have Patient/DTC experience
  • Experience as a lead Engagement Strategist
  • 10+ years digital/engagement strategic strategy planning or marketing experience in a healthcare/pharma advertising agency environment
  • Relevant category and launch experience
  • Experience utilizing strategic tools for analysis
  • Superb and persuasive communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Adept at storytelling
  • Bachelor's degree
