Role Name: Executive Assistant

Schedule:

  • Part-time (15 hours/week) 
  • Flexible schedule with US East Coast alignment

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to provide crucial executive support while contributing to meaningful community change. You’ll work directly with the Executive Director of an impactful non-profit, managing a dynamic schedule of approximately 20 meetings weekly, coordinating community outreach efforts, and handling various administrative responsibilities. This role offers the perfect blend of traditional executive assistance and mission-driven work, allowing you to develop professionally while supporting initiatives that strengthen communities through faith-based organizing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling and coordination for 20+ weekly meetings
  • Take notes in important meetings
  • Execute meeting follow-ups and track action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Organize and maintain efficient email communications
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics
  • Process and organize receipts and expense documentation
  • Conduct targeted online research projects, including:
    • Creating comprehensive church and community organization databases
    • Preparing briefing documents with background information on meeting participants
    • Compiling research findings into well-organized spreadsheets
  • Create and maintain various organizational tracking systems using Excel and Google Sheets
  • Support both professional and personal administrative needs of the Executive Director
  • Assist with special projects and community outreach initiatives as needed

  • Previous experience in executive support preferred
