You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring every detail is covered, and that the projects you lead have a measurable impact on the company’s future.

Key Responsibilities:​

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, requirements documents, and status reports

  • Implement project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) appropriate to the project requirements

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution of projects

  • Establish and manage project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths

  • Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

Team Leadership:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and removing obstacles to success

  • Facilitate productive project meetings, ensuring clear communication of objectives and action items

  • Assign and prioritize tasks to team members based on skills, experience, and project needs

  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance performance and professional growth

  • Manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project activities and status

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure appropriate involvement throughout the project lifecycle

  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner

  • Facilitate decision-making processes with stakeholders to address project challenges

  • Present project outcomes and business value to executives and key stakeholders

Risk & Change Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed

  • Implement change management processes to ensure controlled project evolution

  • Develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions

  • Manage scope changes through formal processes, evaluating impacts on timeline, budget, and resources

  • Ensure that project changes are properly documented and communicated to all stakeholders

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accurate forecasting

  • Track and report on project expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions

  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers to obtain favorable terms and conditions

  • Manage project procurement activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish quality standards and metrics for project deliverables

  • Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet requirements

  • Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, methodologies, and best practices

  • Validate that project outcomes fulfill business requirements and deliver expected value


Performance Indicators:

  • Successful delivery of projects within defined constraints (scope, time, budget, quality)

  • Stakeholder satisfaction with project processes and outcomes

  • Accuracy of project estimates and forecasts

  • Effectiveness in managing risks and issues

  • Quality of project documentation and reporting

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

  • Additional certifications such as Agile/Scrum Master, ITIL, or Prince2 are desirable

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment

  • Background in relevant technical domains (software development, infrastructure, cloud migrations, etc.)

  • Experience with project management software and tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.)

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development methodologies, and technology trends

  • Proficiency with project management tools and software

  • Knowledge of business analysis and requirements gathering techniques

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and best practices

  • Understanding of IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements
