Channel Impact is seeking a Director, Email Marketing & CRM to join our team. In this role, you'll lead strategy and execution across email communications for diverse audience groups, including B2B, B2C, and B2B2C segments. We're looking for someone with deep expertise in email marketing and CRM, paired with strong leadership and coaching abilities. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, highly organized, and brings sharp analytical skills to optimize performance and engagement.


This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits, for a remote worker within the United States.


What you will do:

  • Responsible for executing all B2B customer, patient, and provider-based email campaigns in collaboration with Audience team marketers.
  • Deep knowledge of email marketing (B2B and B2C), marketing automation tools, CRM, and campaign reporting to improve the marketing funnel performance (MQL to SQL).
  • Experience with demonstrated success across marketing automation platforms, including lead scoring based on audience behaviors. The ideal candidate must be results-focused.
  • Strategic problem solver with the nuanced ability to develop and manage tactical execution plans that keep the customer at the center, drive higher engagement with prospects and customers, and deliver on key objectives.
  • Able to analyze email program performance metrics and optimize across all email metrics, including deliverability, opens, click-to-open, CTRs, opt-out rates, and conversions. Which includes building out weekly and monthly reports.
  • Develop and track dashboards and business goals, ensuring the ability to report on the performance of campaigns and provide recommendations for improvements and email standard methodology guidance as needed.
  • Create and deploy different types of emails journeys for Marketing as well as other business teams including: Customer Experience, Sales, Finance, and Medical Affairs teams.
  • Proficient with HTML/CSS. Able to adjust and create code as needed.
  • Create UTM links following standard naming conventions to ensure tracking and analytics best practices.
  • Project management skills, including planning projects and managing deadlines (Asana/Jira experience helpful).
  • Ensure email templates perform across device types, platforms, and modes and are optimized in accordance with email best practices and compliance.
  • Serves as a digital stakeholder working with IT and CRM workflows. Must understand Salesforce Sales Cloud and be able to create reporting as well as advocate for best practices with lead tracking and conversion to best measure marketing campaigns what works and what does not.


What you bring:

  • 12+ years of experience in an email management role serving both B2B and B2C audiences, with deep expertise using Salesforce tools including Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), Marketing Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama). (Required)
  • Proven experience working within healthcare systems, with a solid understanding of HIPAA compliance.
  • Must have experience working within healthcare or bio tech industry. (Required)
  • 3+ years of people management experience in a “player-coach” role, leading and mentoring a high-performing team.
  • Experience standing up an SMS platform (Required)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories using data.
  • Deep experience in lead scoring based on audience behaviors.
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of brand stewardship and consistency.
  • Strong data analysis skills including experience devising and executing A/B testing and improving email performance over time that aligns with KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy surrounding email compliance including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA.
  • Knowledge of standard email marketing methodologies for deliverability, subscriber list health, email creative execution, customer segmentation, dynamic and conditional content build-out, and personalization.
  • Ability to present successful email campaigns, including a breakdown of what made them effective.
  • Proficiency with basic HTML/CSS editing and email performance tools such as Litmus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment to drive results.
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently lead and execute projects from end to end.
  • Experience in aspirational or emotionally-driven industries where email strategy played a key role in revenue growth and brand adoption.
  • Experience with ABM best practices.
  • Proficient using tools, such as: Tableau, Asana, Google Suite, familiarity with AI tools (a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
