Job description

Logistics Coordinator

The Role

The Logistics Coordinator will join our growing Operations Team, focusing on problem-solving and organization within logistics. This role is crucial in setting up and maintaining efficient and accurate inventory movement across our supply chain and ensuring seamless communication between our suppliers, partnered carriers, and internal systems. This dynamic position will report to the Inventory Manager and work both within the Supply Chain team and cross-functionally across the organization. This is a salaried, exempt,, full-time (40h/week), remote or hybrid position; ability to work a CST or EST timezone is preferred. The compensation range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000 USD/year. It is preferred but not required that candidates live in either the Dallas, TX or Las Vegas, NV areas.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and track inbound and outbound shipments and logistics.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse partners to ensure timely and accurate inventory pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure inventory data integrity across platforms, primarily NetSuite, MaryRuth’s internal records, and third-party WMS systems.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, missing units, and on-hold stock to maintain accurate reporting and availability.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards or summary reports that track key inventory KPIs and trends.
  • Identify root causes for recurring inventory or data sync issues and propose actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Retail, eComm, and IT teams to support ongoing process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel (~25-75%), primarily to the Dallas and/or Las Vegas areas, will be required on an as needed basis, with notice provided to the employee.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or warehouse operations (3PL experience is a plus) required.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite.
  • Proven experience working with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) platforms.
  • Experience with inventory integrations or middleware platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with SKU lifecycle management and item master data maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Comfortable adapting and managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • This role involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
