What Does The Supply Chain Department Do At Worldwide
Clinical Supply Manager will plan, implement, monitor, and improve company supply strategy including collaboration with Project Management, Vendor Management, DLS Leadership, Finance and vendors
What You Will Do
- Provide budget input for relevant CSM services for new opportunities
- Monitor budgets, ensuring projects are proceeding in line with customer approved quotation; Change Order (CO) input if needed
- Develop company Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
- Develop study specific documents (e.g., pharmacy manual, distribution instructions, etc.)
- Oversee the external vendor contracted to manage clinical supply: packaging, labelling and distribution
- Preliminary drug supply forecast& overages /wastage expectation
- Assess scope, timing, and operational requirements of the project
- Work with Client and external vendors to plan all operational steps
- Establish communication pathways with Client to define roles and responsibilities
- Prioritize and assist with identifying and solving clinical supply issues
- Work with CSS team to ensure consistent communication of IP supply chain status; identify potential risks; define and execute risk mitigation
- Identify, recommend, and lead process improvement initiatives
- Train and evaluate Clinical Supply Specialists
- Represent Clinical Supply Management (CSM) group in case of audits
- Backup Clinical Supply Specialists
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Analytical problem-solving skills and eye for detail
- Ability to create effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of personal initiative, ability to function autonomously and in a structured manner
- Broad knowledge and experience in supply chain in clinical trials
- Strong planning skills
- Logical and systematic approach to work
- Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain
Your background
- BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field
- Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator/Manager for (3) years Hands on experience with supply chain management software
- Exposure to IRT/RTSM systems
