Workforce Development Researcher
In this role you will lead economic analysis of America's semiconductor workforce landscape, developing comprehensive insights that guide strategic initiatives to address the industry's projected 2030 talent gap of 67,000-people.
Every day you will analyze labor market trends, evaluate workforce development programs, and develop data products and recommendations to support the semiconductor industry's critical workforce needs.
To thrive in this role you must combine sophisticated statistical and economic analysis capabilities with strong data communication skills, demonstrating the ability to translate complex workforce data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities:
Analyze semiconductor workforce supply and demand
Develop economic models and forecasts
Create data visualizations and other data products
Generate workforce impact assessments
Analyze skills and credential trends and patterns
Evaluate workforce development program outcomes
Support program evaluation initiatives
Author economic impact reports
Present findings to stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Economics, Labor Economics, or related field
5+ years experience analyzing labor market data
Expert knowledge of BLS datasets and methodologies
Strong background in program evaluation
Excellence in statistical analysis
Proven track record in economic modeling
Strong technical writing capabilities and the ability to translate complex economic concepts into terms policymakers and program operators can easily understand
Data product development experience including data visualizations
Stakeholder presentation skills
