A dynamic Solution Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to government clients, demonstrating how our unique value proposition addresses their unique challenges with PayIt’s market-leading platform and solutions. You will partner with sales, product, and implementation teams to deliver compelling product demonstrations, guide RFP responses, and shape solutions tailored to government needs.
This role offers a base salary between $90,000 and $185,000, plus a commission-based earnings opportunity.
To establish your base salary, we rely on market indicators and consider your background, skills, experience, and job level to determine your total compensation within the market range.
Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions through demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
Product Demonstrations: Showcase our customer experience and payment solutions to government agencies, illustrating value propositions and ROI.
Technical Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on GovTech solutions, advising clients on best practices, system integrations, and digital transformation strategies.
Solution Design: Work closely with product and engineering teams to align offerings with government requirements, compliance standards, and payment processing regulations.
Proposal & RFP Support: Assist in writing technical responses for government procurements, ensuring alignment with agency needs and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with government IT teams, procurement officers, and decision-makers to ensure successful solution adoption.
Market & Industry Insights: Stay up to date on GovTech trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies to enhance customer conversations and drive innovation.
What You'll Need To Have:
Experience: 5+ years in solution consulting, sales engineering, or a related role in GovTech, SaaS, payments, or digital customer experience.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of government technology, digital payments, and customer service platforms (e.g., CRM, self-service portals, IVR, chatbots).
Technical Acumen: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; experience with API integrations, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise software.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex solutions into compelling business value propositions for government clients.
Presentation Skills: Comfortable leading demos, workshops, and client discussions with executive-level stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical and strategic thinker with a customer-first approach.
Team Player: Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with government agencies or public sector clients
Familiarity with government procurement and RFP processes
Knowledge of payment processing, PCI compliance, and digital wallets
Proficiency in CRM, ERP, or case management solutions used in the public sector
