About the role
Duties of the Project Coordinator include the full-lifecycle delivery of BigHand solutions to global customers. This includes coordinating project activities, communicating with stakeholders, tracking project progress, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also ensuring a successful delivery of the solution that sets the customer up for future success.
Note - This position follows US time zones, requiring you to work afternoon shifts from approximately 2/3 PM to 10 or 11 PM Beirut Time.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with project managers, team leads and customers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Coordinate with the project manager and team leads project resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communication, both internally and externally.
- Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status, issues, and risks
- Escalate significant issues to project management and leadership for resolution as needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, task lists, meeting minutes, and change requests.
- Generate regular reports on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestones for stakeholders and leadership review.
- Deliver projects that enable BigHand customers to be successful in their use of the solution
What we’re looking for
- Full life-cycle project coordination or management experience preferably in an IT or technology focused environment (at least 2 years).
- Proven experience in leading internal, client and 3rd party resources to ensure projects are delivered to the agreed scope and budget.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Experience in business process mapping.
- Strong business acumen, managing stakeholder expectations up to Board Level.
- Flexible and willing to help in other areas of the business, if required.
