Key responsabilities:

  • Coordinate and execute sales strategies to capture new business in collaboration with Sales Managers.
  • Develop strategic relationships with channel partners and potential customers to build a strong pipeline.
  • Serve as a technical contact for resolving pre and post-sales technical support questions related to CPI products.
  • Support the development and updates of sales and marketing tools and materials, and provide input for new product development.

Technical Sales Rep - Saudi Arabia

Coordinates, and executes sales strategies to capture new business working in conjunction with specific Sales Managers within CPI. Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with channel partners and potential end user customers.  Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Strong knowledge of CPI products and solutions and how they apply to customer needs. Coordinates activities with Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors in the achievement of company-wide goals and objectives.  Serves as a technical contact accountable for resolving pre and post sales technical support questions/issues addressing CPI product’s purpose, fit/form/function, characteristics and limitations. Must be knowledgeable of a broad spectrum of complex products and applications and internal procedures in order to supply accurate information to customers and partners in a timely manner. Performs daily duties including recommending CPI products and system designs. Sourcing various product drawings, creating bills of materials and cross-referencing CPI and competitive products. Provides input for new product development and training processes. Supports the development and updates of sales and marketing tools and materials.

Technical Competencies:

  • B.E./B.TECH. or equivalent in technical field. RCDD or DCDC certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of Three years sales/ technical sales experience.
  • Strong oral and written skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio). Knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCad, BIM etc. is an advantage.
  • Executed experience utilizing strong background in analytical, organizational, planning and scheduling and managing to achieve target goals.
  • Flexibility at managing multiple projects over extended periods of time.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who works well in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Willingness to Travel as required.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Technical Knowledge of Voice/Data industry, LAN/WAN physical architecture, customer base, and distribution preferred.  Rack, cabinet cable management, power and cable pathway product application knowledge highly desirable.
  • Has knowledge of, and ability to interpret, engineering drawings and documentation.
