Coordinates, and executes sales strategies to capture new business working in conjunction with specific Sales Managers within CPI. Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with channel partners and potential end user customers. Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Strong knowledge of CPI products and solutions and how they apply to customer needs. Coordinates activities with Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors in the achievement of company-wide goals and objectives. Serves as a technical contact accountable for resolving pre and post sales technical support questions/issues addressing CPI product’s purpose, fit/form/function, characteristics and limitations. Must be knowledgeable of a broad spectrum of complex products and applications and internal procedures in order to supply accurate information to customers and partners in a timely manner. Performs daily duties including recommending CPI products and system designs. Sourcing various product drawings, creating bills of materials and cross-referencing CPI and competitive products. Provides input for new product development and training processes. Supports the development and updates of sales and marketing tools and materials.
