This is a remote position.


Schedule: 
  • Sundays-Wednesdays 8:00am-10:30am Fresno, California, USA, Pacific Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to support our marketing team. In this role, you will help manage our social media presence across various platforms, assist with content creation, monitor engagement, and contribute to brand growth and community building.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Track and report on key performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth)
  • Research social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Help manage the content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop engaging and brand-aligned content
  • Support paid social media campaigns as needed
  • Assist in developing strategies to increase brand visibility and audience engagement
  • Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts (professional or personal projects are welcome).

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Canva, Meta Business Suite).

  • Ability to create basic graphics and visual content using tools like Canva or Photoshop.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community engagement.

  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with video editing or short-form video content (Reels, TikTok).

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and how it applies to social media.

  • Prior experience supporting paid social advertising campaigns.
