You will be working alongside dedicated sales specialists , field applications and service engineers in the field dealing with established business as well as forging relationships with new end users in the region.

Your extensive commercial skills allied with your genomics knowledge will drive your ability to support market growth in line with the Company's mission.  Knowing this is key to building value for the end user you will be eager to support our channel partners as they build relationships with existing and new end users, and helping establish you as a trusted partner and a key team player for our Commercial business.

You will be based in Saudi and have good knowledge of the public health system locally, you’ll already understand the advantages of using Sequencing in areas like  Genetic Disease, Oncology,  and Covid Surveillance and want to help build on this for the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-value, long-term end users through supporting the channel partners
  • Identify high-calibre genetic analysis sales opportunities through professional screening processes and use of all available information resources
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of prospects including personnel and responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition and market
  • Prepare compelling presentations and support channel partners with general customer demonstrations, training and support
  • Coordinate and communicate marketing activities and strategies effectively to supervisors
  • Develop and maintain all end user /contact details within Illumina’s CRM database. Utilize same to effectively monitor and direct customer purchasing activities through channel partners
  • Provide regular and accurate forecast updates of overall market activity and Illumina sales to channel partners
  • Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring the annual channel partner territory business plan that satisfies goals as established by commercial management  
  • Effectively build a short/medium/long term marketing pipeline and manage the necessary levels of leads, prospects, and opportunities in collaboration with the channel partners
  • Responsible for ensuring Illumina’s commitment to customer satisfaction is performed, delivered and constantly improved to protect our Brand 
  • Gain partner mindshare and commitment and have the ability to distinguish among different personas within a partner’s organization 
  • Satisfy all product and technology training requirements as established by Sales management and the Training department

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the region to carry out primary responsibilities (at least 50% of the time)
  • Regional wide business experience is desirable
  • English fluent, ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills
