Job description

The Job

Your job is to ensure the quality of our products as per our standards and requirements during development and production. At the start of each new product you will be involved in the quality processes. You will guarantee the needful checks during factory visits, such as on inbound check, SMS inspection, precheck/PPS approval, inline inspection and final inspection. Furthermore, you are required to identify and resolve problems in manufacturing to prevent product rejections. You are a major contact person for our suppliers and you will work closely with the production coordination team, sourcing and supply chain team at HQ, UK, HK and MEX. You will be reporting to QA Manager in Shanghai.

Your Mission

Defining, installing and controlling QA processes to guarantee the required quality of our products during development and bulk production.
Conduct the inline audit of the manufacturing facility and have a guidance in place to improve our focus
Final inspection to have our analysis on the vendor process and product.
Approval of quality reports and releasing shipments.
Work with the management of facilities to ensure conditions support the best quality product
Implementation of Certified Factory Auditor program and work closely with the factory management to make the process successful
Conduct Certified Factory Auditor training and manage the vendor Certified Factory Auditor teams regularly.
Map the efficiency of the Certified Factory Auditor and have a program to improve the area of concern.
Coordinate the nominated testing and inspection between Customer and Supplier
Precheck the SMS, labeling and monitor the Certified Factory Auditor PPS approval, escalate to the merchant teams is the issue is foreseen on quality/delivery.
Initiate and Conduct PP meetings on high risk styles and establish the requirement product wise.
Liaise with the development team in NL and CN when required

Your Talent

At least 5 years of experience in textile/garment production environment (preferable in intimates and socks);
Understand (physical and chemical) basic product testing requirements
Affinity with processes/planning/products;
Assertive and proactive;
Good communicative skills;
You find it challenging to go into small details;
Excellent communication skills in English language; verbal and in written;
Willing to support production sites abroad (Cambodia, Philippines);
Preferable in understanding of sustainability and social compliance standards.
