Role Summary

Our Corporate Transportation Team is looking for a driven and adaptable Transportation Analyst/Planner whose action-oriented mindset will foster continued growth throughout our exciting business portfolio and their own career development.
In this highly impactful remote based role, you will be responsible for supporting all transportation activities for various shipping facilities across North America to generate the highest level of service at the lowest possible cost. This role will heavily leverage Transportation Technology applications to assist in making data driven decisions that influence on time, case fill, and $220 million in Logistics Costs. In addition, this role will support the development of strategic relationships with over eighty different transportation partners.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Primary coordinator on all transportation activities (load planning to maximize service/cost, tracking of shipments to ensure on time pickup/delivery, issue resolution) for a group of shipping facilities within the Church & Dwight network to include internal locations (C&D Distribution Centers and Plants) and external (Contract Manufacturers and Raw material Suppliers).
Participate as the internal liaison between Transportation, Carrier Partners, Shipping Locations, and internal departments to support key performance indicators such as On Time, Case Fill, Revenue Recognition.
Utilize Transportation Technology Applications to include TMS, FourKites, and Power BI to monitor and identify improvement opportunities.
Support the Transportation Network Team on managing carrier network by relationship building, adherence to C&D requirements, and trailer pool maintenance.
Assist in project analysis involving cross-functional internal and external teams using data driven decisions to capture improvement opportunities.
Education and Experience
BS/BA degree required
1 - 2 years experience in Supply Chain/Logistics preferred
Experience with Transportation Management Systems preferred
Experience with Predictive Analytics Applications preferred
Strong analytical skills with experience in Microsoft Power BI preferred
Working knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution Module preferred
Strong MS Office skills required

Ability to travel up to 5 % of Time
