About the job:

We are seeking a strategic, driven, and experienced Director of Technical Recruiting to lead our technical hiring efforts across engineering, product, and data science teams in India. This leader will design and execute scalable recruiting strategies, develop high-performing teams, and partner with key stakeholders to attract and retain top-tier technical talent in a competitive market.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Develop and execute the overall technical recruiting strategy aligned with company goals and growth plans.

    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of technical recruiters and recruiting coordinators.

    • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruiting lifecycle.

    • Partner with executive leadership, hiring managers, and HR to forecast hiring needs and define success metrics.

  • Process & Operations

    • Optimize recruiting processes for efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire.

    • Manage Greenhouse accurately and other recruiting technologies.

    • Analyze recruiting metrics and provide regular reporting on pipeline health, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and other KPIs.

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and internal policies.

  • Sourcing & Employer Branding

    • Oversee proactive sourcing strategies and programs to build robust technical talent pipelines.

    • Enhance employer brand to attract top-tier technical candidates through events, campaigns, and partnerships.

    • Build strong relationships with external partners, universities, and communities to tap into emerging tech talent.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role focused on technical recruiting.

  • Proven track record of scaling technical teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments (startup or enterprise).

  • Deep understanding of technical roles and hiring best practices (software engineering, DevOps, data science, etc.).

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.

  • Experience working with ATS and CRM platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).

  • Passion and delivery for diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
