About Us:
ClickUp is on a mission to make the world more productive. As a hyper-growth software company, we're revolutionizing the way teams collaborate, plan, and execute work. We’re seeking a strategic and results-oriented leader to architect and drive our performance marketing operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring scalable growth and maximum impact.

The Role:
As a strategic partner within our performance marketing leadership, you will drive cross-functional alignment, build scalable systems, and proactively shape how we plan, execute, and measure marketing initiatives. This role demands a leader who can navigate ambiguous landscapes, define new operational frameworks, and significantly influence the strategic direction of our performance marketing function. Ideal candidates possess deep expertise in performance media and a proven track record in roles such as program management, portfolio management, or strategic marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Operations Strategy & Initiative Leadership

  • Lead the development and implementation of planning frameworks for high-impact initiatives, aligning with overarching business goals and proactively solving for future scaling challenges.
  • Architect streamlined processes and collaboration models across media, analytics, and creative teams to enhance execution and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain clear priorities, timelines, and capacity plans, ensuring strategic initiatives and campaigns remain on track and deliver significant impact.
  • Proactively identify critical dependencies and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the seamless execution of marketing programs.

Budget Governance & Performance Optimization

  • Own budget governance and forecasting systems, partnering closely with Finance to guide strategic media investments and optimize spend for maximum ROI.
  • Oversee media investment tracking, reconciliation processes, and financial reporting, ensuring accountability and providing strategic insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and media teams to continuously refine budget forecasting methodologies and identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and impact.

Scalable Reporting & Strategic Insights

  • Build scalable reporting systems and evolve measurement standards to surface critical trends and opportunities before they become widely apparent.
  • Lead the development of advanced marketing measurement frameworks, collaborating with analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, robust attribution, and the generation of actionable insights.
  • Develop and present comprehensive performance reports that not only highlight past performance but also forecast future trends and provide strategic recommendations for optimization and growth.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Framework Development

  • Architect streamlined processes and collaboration models to enhance execution efficiency across media, creative, and analytics teams.
  • Design and lead strategic meetings with clear objectives, fostering efficient decision-making, and ensuring alignment on critical priorities across diverse teams.
  • Drive the creation and adoption of internal documentation, reporting standards, and operational policies that enhance team productivity and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in performance marketing, marketing operations, or program management roles, with demonstrated experience building scalable systems, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and driving strategy.
  • Exceptional project and program management skills, including proficiency in ClickUp or similar project management platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, align diverse teams towards ambitious goals, and influence strategic direction.
  • Highly analytical and strategic mindset with a strong track record of interpreting marketing performance data to drive significant process improvements and strategic decisions.
  • Deep familiarity with paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) and advanced analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple complex priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving.
