About you 

You’re a mission-driven, mixed methods researcher with experience carrying out end-to-end research, from creating a research plan to writing reports. You excel at moderating research sessions, synthesizing data, and using a wide range of research tools and methods. You like working both independently and collaboratively, have experience giving and receiving feedback on research, and display outstanding critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

What you’ll do 

  • Identify appropriate methods and research questions to meet client goals 
  • Develop research briefs and research instruments like screeners, surveys, and moderator's guides 
  • Conduct environmental scans and literature scans 
  • Coordinate directly with research facilities and recruitment vendors 
  • Moderate study sessions using multiple methods like focus groups, interviews, and usability testing 
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis, synthesizing findings across participants 
  • Develop research reports and recommendations that align with study goals and best practices in health communication, health literacy, and user experience 

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related work experience and a degree in the social sciences, psychology, public health, human computer interaction, or other related field 
  • Experience supporting and conducting end-to-end research using quantitative and qualitative methods 
  • Proficient in SPSS or other statistical analysis software 
  • Experience moderating research sessions with diverse audiences 
  • Experience developing research instruments and writing reports
