Job Title: Part-time Bookkeeper
Location:
Remote (EST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1,200 USD

Work Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours; availability required to close out monthly books. Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Position Overview:

Were seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the profit and loss process and maintain the internal cash flow tracking model. This is a high-trust role that requires independence, precision, and fluency with Sage 100 Contractor Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully own the monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reconciliation process
  • Maintain and update a 13- week internal cash flow forecast bi-weekly
  • Ensure accurate entries and reporting within Sage 100 Contractor Accounting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on financial status and flag any inconsistencies
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in Sage 100 Contractor Accounting (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and reporting
  • Ability to manage part-time hours effectively and meet monthly close deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and communicating remotely


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Commercial construction project accounting experience
  • Familiarity with multi-project financial tracking
  • Prior remote work experience in a finance or accounting function
