The Sage Intacct Industry Lead for Construction & Real Estate is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of client projects within the vertical. This role ensures projects are executed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with client expectations. As a player-coach, the Industry Lead is both a strategic contributor and a hands-on delivery expert, serving as the main point of contact for complex implementations and guiding a team of consultants through execution.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery & Client Execution
  • Serve as a senior consultant or solution architect on complex Intacct implementations within construction and real estate.
  • Lead discovery sessions, solution design, and delivery of configurations tailored to industry-specific workflows such as project costing, subcontractor management, and lease administration.
  • Perform quality reviews of deliverables and maintain domain expertise


  • IP Development
  • Develop and maintain vertical-specific accelerators, templates, bundles, and implementation methodologies
  • Standardize delivery documentation and best practices across the vertical team.
  • Build and manage a knowledge base to support internal consultants working in the construction & real estate vertical.


  • Pre-Sales & Sales Support
  • Serve as a solution engineer and subject matter expert in sales conversations with prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the GTM team to shape tailored sales collateral, value propositions, and demo environments.
  • Participate in sales discovery, proposal scoping, and feasibility assessments.


  • Thought Leadership
  • Produce and present industry content such as webinars, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • Represent the firm at real estate and construction-specific events, conferences, and forums.
  • Monitor and report on trends that may influence client needs or service offerings.


  • Internal Enablement & Mentorship
  • Mentor consultants and project managers on vertical-specific processes and business challenges.
  • Play an active role in hiring by screening for vertical experience and supporting onboarding.
  • Maintain regular alignment with Delivery, Sales, and Customer Success Leads to support project health and client satisfaction.


  • Strategy & Planning
  • Set OKRs and practice growth objectives in partnership with the COO or Managing Partner.
  • Recommend pricing strategies, service line expansions, and solution packaging for the vertical.
  • Provide feedback to influence product roadmap and ecosystem partnerships based on client insights.

  • Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in the real estate and construction industry
  • 6+ years of ERP consulting experience, with a strong focus on Sage Intacct or comparable systems.
  • Deep knowledge of construction and real estate business processes (e.g., job costing, revenue recognition, AIA billing, lease management).
  • Proven experience leading implementation teams and managing multiple client engagements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable balancing billable work with team leadership and practice development responsibilities.
