Job description

This is a remote position.

S chedule: Flexible days and hours, but be on within the window of 7 am to 7 pm | Alpharetta, Georgia (Eastern Time)
Paid hours per week: 40 hours per week

Position Overview:
This is a remote, full-time contractor role combining bookkeeping (with a strong focus on accounts receivable) and administrative support. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, highly organized, experienced in small business bookkeeping, and confident working independently. This role also includes basic bookkeeping support for two additional small clients.
Key Responsibilities:

For the main client:
  • Primary focus on Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Create and send invoices promptly based on job completions
  • Track and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Communicate professionally with builders, project managers, and accounting departments
  • Maintain accurate AR records and update payment logs
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
  • Manage digital job files and financial documentation
  • Schedule painting, cleaning, and pressure washing crews based on job timelines
  • Communicate job updates with both English- and Spanish-speaking field teams
  • Coordinate with clients regarding access, schedule changes, and job status
• For the 2 minor clients:
  • Categorize transactions and reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Maintain simple financial records and prepare basic reports
  • Provide limited admin support as needed
• Handle general admin tasks: email management, document filing, supply tracking


Requirements
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with service-based or construction businesses preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
• Tech-savvy with confidence using spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools, and shared drives
• Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace
