Certified Special Education Teacher, K-5 Science and Social Studies - Online Campus - 25/26 School Year
Although this is a remote position, candidates must reside in Arizona and be able to come onsite to our Phoenix Online School Office two times per month for meetings and professional development.
Under the supervision and direction of the Campus Director, the Certified SPED Teacher (K-5 Science and Social Studies) will manage a caseload of middle school students while preparing and delivering engaging instruction, evaluating student performance, and supporting progress toward IEP goals. The ideal candidate will have experience differentiating instruction in Science and Social Studies for a variety of learners and will work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff.
Candidates with teaching certification and experience are preferred with a willingness to be trained and coached in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies. The Certified teacher will support a caseload of students and work on a team to implement a best-practice educational model to achieve optimal results for students on the autism spectrum and students with other related disorders in the online learning environment.
