💼 Speech Provider

💰  $35.50 - $41.16/hr
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, type of credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

🎯 Expectations:

  • provide telecommute/remote speech services that adhere to the goals and objectives found in each student's IEP or Plan of Care
  • administer all necessary evaluations and assessments with written reports and Plan of Care
  • keep accurate records and provide updates on progress and recommendations regarding IEPs
  • communicate ongoing student/client progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals

Minimum Requirements:

  • licensed as a Speech Pathologist by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, hold a Pupil Service License by the Ohio Department of Education, and have your CCC, Certificate of Clinical Competence, from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a minimum of two years of experience  
  • familiar with the Ohio Education Code, Ohio Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools’ policies, rules, and regulations regarding programs and pupils
  • valid Ohio Driver’s License in good standing  
  • hold valid CPR and First Aid training certificate
  • Must clear a current background check through the FBI and BCI  
  • auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work-related travel (25/50k liability coverage)
  • ability to travel to more than one site on any given day
  • a current TB Test

​Preferred qualifications include:

  • experience working with individuals with special needs 
  • five (5) years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • experience in auditing and monitoring compliance for the district, state, and federal regulations regarding Special Education
