Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, document, validate, and maintain robust and scalable web applications for the review and manipulation of 3D medical images.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
Integrate backend services and APIs to support web application functionality.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Drive the release and monitoring of web application components.
Participate with the rest of the team in supporting production.
Participate in cross-functional conversations with Product team, Process Engineering team, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications required:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related is required; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of relevant industry experience in web application development.
Strong proficiency in Typescript or JavaScript.
Experience with modern web frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
Excellent understanding of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

How you stand out:

Experience with medical imaging in web applications.
Experience with WebGL or other 3D graphics libraries.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Amazon Web Services or equivalent) for web application deployment.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $140,000 to $175,000 (for all locations outside San Francisco Bay Area) and $150,000 to $215,000 (for San Francisco Bay Area), cash bonus, and stock options.
