Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping SME to develop and deliver training programs related to bookkeeping and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping practices, including QuickBooks, Trust Account Management, Collections, Payroll, and US Taxation. This role will focus on transferring knowledge through engaging training modules and real-world application techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs on various bookkeeping topics, including:
    • QuickBooks training for effective financial management
    • Trust Account Management best practices
    • Collection techniques and processes
    • Employment compliance payroll and 1099 processing
    • AI tools for bookkeeping efficiency
    • US Taxation fundamentals and compliance
  • Create comprehensive training materials, including guides, manuals, and interactive
  • content.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to virtual bookkeeping staff.
  • Conduct regular training assessments to ensure competency and skill enhancement.
  • Stay updated with the latest bookkeeping trends, tools, and regulations to keep training
  • content relevant and accurate.
  • Collaborate with operations to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Facilitate one-on-one coaching sessions when necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeping SME, Trainer, or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks, Trust Account Management, and US Taxation.
  • Strong understanding of collection techniques and payroll compliance (including 1099
  • processing).
  • Familiarity with AI tools in bookkeeping and finance.
  • Experience creating and delivering training content.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor) are a plus.
  • Experience working in a virtual or remote environment is a plus
  • Willingness to work in US time zones (PST, EST, CST).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with backup in cases of power interruption or service provider issues.
  • Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers, and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
  • Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
  • A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
