The DevOps team at NFQ plays a key role in adapting the latest technologies and solutions to our customers and employees. The team is working on projects in areas such as retail, travel, power & utilities, aviation, healthcare or logistics. The team constantly share best practices and experiences with other teams - solving problems together and looking for the most suitable solutions. There are challenges in everyday work, but team members always support each other.

The team is based in Lithuania (you can expect a business trip a few times a year to Vilnius/ Kaunas).

In this role, you will
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Create DevOps delivery quality framework (estimates on target, code checking process, minimal bugs, etc)
  • Share best DevOps practices with the team and organization. Ensure that DevOps principles are applied in projects
  • Increase DevOps delivery effectiveness (create a framework that is flexible to cater to multiple clients but also reusable to reduce overhead for future projects, AI adaptiveness, etc)
  • Ensure successful recruitment process (from technical perspective). Ensure that new team members have sufficient technical skills and knowledge
  • Prior to each project start, prepare DevOps vision and together with assigned DevOps create infrastructure plan according to Client and Developers needs
  • Create framework on how fast and effectively onboarding new team members and cross-train them on various client environments and technologies
  • Act as a mentor for DevOps colleagues consulting on technical and career grow topics

  • What you will bring
  • Strong Linux/MacOS experience with proficiency in Bash/Unix built-ins
  • Fluency in Git for efficient source code management
  • Proficiency in MS Azure or AWS for cloud-based deployments
  • Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for automated infrastructure management
  • Solid understanding of routing, forwarding, ARP, NAT, DNS, and iptables
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of web applications and their lifecycle
  • Knowledge of PHP or Java
  • Familiarity with tools like New Relic, ELK, and similar solutions
  • Experience with GitLab pipelines and available services
  • Understanding of Agile workflows and best practices
  • Ability to guide and mentor team members, driving best practices and technical excellence
  • A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions
  • Strong ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Professional working proficiency in English

    21 280 - 31 920 PLN + VAT (B2B) 
    17 650 - 26 500 PLN gross (Permanent)
