This is a remote position.

As a Swedish Language Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering interactive and learner-focused sessions to students of varying age groups and proficiency levels. Whether it's beginner vocabulary or advanced conversation skills, your guidance will help students gain confidence and fluency in Swedish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured and engaging Swedish language lessons online via Zoom.

  • Customize teaching approaches based on students’ age, proficiency level, and learning pace.

  • Foster an immersive learning environment through active student engagement and participation.

  • Create lesson plans, practice materials, and assessments to track student progress.

  • Encourage cultural understanding by integrating Swedish culture, traditions, and expressions into lessons.

  • Provide feedback and support to help learners improve effectively.


Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Languages, Education, or related field.

  • Certification in Swedish language teaching (like SWEDEX, TISUS, or any equivalent – preferred but not mandatory).

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Swedish (B2 level or above).

  • Minimum 2+ years of prior teaching experience, especially in online environments.

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.

  • Ability to simplify complex grammar and vocabulary for learners.

  • Familiarity with language learning tools, games, and digital platforms.

Technical Requirements:

  • A stable internet connection and a professional online teaching setup.

  • Proficiency in conducting sessions through Zoom.

  • Ability to use visual aids and tools for interactive teaching.
