About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and forward-thinking Corporate Media Associate to join us as we continue our growth in the dynamic automotive marketplace industry. This role will primarily focus on upper-funnel and mid-funnel paid media tactics across marketing channels, including CTV, video, social, audio, influencers, publisher partnerships, and app marketing.
The Corporate Media Associate will collaborate with team members from both the organic and paid marketing teams, work directly with media partners, and partner with an external media agency. This role is part of the Cars Corporate Media team and reports to the Senior Manager of Corporate Media.
Responsibilities Include:
Hands-on management of paid media across CTV, video, social, audio, influencers, publisher partnerships, and app install campaigns.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to identify performance issues/opportunities to achieve maximum ROI in marketing campaigns.
Monitor and optimize monthly budget pacing to ensure budgets are spent effectively each month.
Evaluate data across partners and identify insights and opportunities for future strategy development.
Collaborate on the development of media strategies and plans including ad copy, creatives/messaging, flighting, budgeting, and KPIs.
Provide creative solutions and optimize campaigns to meet KPI metrics, including CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, and more.
Conduct A/B testing with various partners, ad formats, audiences, bid strategies, copy variations, etc.
Collaborate with our agency partner and media partners to implement campaign updates and monitor impact (a portion of this role would be managing in-house media, without agency support)
Monitor engagement/performance metrics driven by our ad campaigns.
Vendor management, including invoicing and monthly reconciliation and confirmation of delivery.
This role requires someone who thrives on finding ways to continuously improve the programs by looking for new ways to enhance performance.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
1-2 years of paid media experience in the B2C space, with a focus on upper funnel and mid funnel tactics/goals. E-commerce or automotive experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and experience auditing campaign settings and creative/messaging to ensure consistency and strategic alignment across multiple platforms.
Innovative and proactive attitude with a desire for continual improvement and the ability to identify unique opportunities for potential growth and learning.
Strong Cross-functional collaborator with the ability to identify the internal resources needed to make progress against goals.
An understanding of different audience targeting capabilities and strategies
Experience managing campaigns directly in ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and DSPs such as Google’s DV360 or TradeDesk), including optimization, ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, and advanced reporting.
Data analysis capabilities to identify trends that tell a story.
Basic understanding of tracking and conversion optimization.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, along with a proven track record of driving results via conversion-driven media campaigns.
Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting.
Experience working with data in Google Sheets/Excel is required, and experience with Tableau or other data analytics visualization tools is a plus.
Experience leveraging Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) (i.e., Appsflyer, Adjust, Branch, Kochava) a plus.
Experience working with e-commerce or other product feeds for dynamic ads is a plus.
Agency experience is a plus.
