Being a Solution Architect in Kainos, you will lead multi-skilled Agile teams to design and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions. You will collaborate with customer Architects to shape functional and non-functional designs, advising on complexity, effort, and technical direction. As a technical leader, you will help shape standards, champion new approaches, and contribute to our culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. You will mentor and develop team members, empowering them to grow and succeed.

In this role you will:
Design modern solutions. You will lead collaborative design sessions to architect robust, scalable applications. From the start, you will prioritize non-functional needs such as performance and security. You will be key in delivering solutions and making rapid decisions, leveraging the latest and most resilient technologies and approaches.
Inspire and lead Agile teams. You will guide the work of cross-functional teams through delivery, providing mentorship and technical expertise as needed.
Champion innovation. You will keep up with the latest tools and technologies, share insights, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Your expertise:
Technical proficiency. You have proven success designing and delivering multi-tiered software applications, incorporating non-functional requirements and working with AWS and Azure, including SaaS and PaaS offerings.
Leadership. You have the confidence and professional approach to negotiate designs with customer architects and effectively articulate technical concepts and choices.
People development. You have a demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members, assigning and overseeing work in an Agile environment. You can support individual growth by providing feedback and leading career conversations.
Consulting skills. You have been accountable for large-scale technology delivery channels and end-to-end project management. You can set objectives, prioritize tasks, and manage timelines across multiple concurrent projects. You can confidently identify gaps and collaborate cross-functionally to recommend further solutions to expand engagement and develop the business.
