This position is accountable for managing, planning and leading the remote embedded teams and inventory making sure that all projects are completed in accordance to their due dates. This position serves as the primary point of contact for the remote team, including but not limited to chart retrieval, project prioritization and escalations.

 

You will:

  • Monitors volume, chart retrieval, scheduled dates and completion dates as necessary.
  • Maintains transparent communications with multiple regional managers of operations and vice-presidents of operations to ensure healthy relationships with the clients.
  • Responsible of maintaining key performance indicators for the remote team above goal.
  • Reviews and follows up on departmental metrics to maximize productivity.
  • Completes routine and non-routine reports, as well as status reporting and management, in order to review performance data that includes financial and productivity metrics, and overall department effectiveness.
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee on-boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
  • Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions.
  • Ensures that the team maintains confidentiality, information security and ethical behavior when handling protected health information.
  • Provides effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Administer payroll bi-weekly by approving and validating remote team employee’s time-sheets, making sure correct allocations to the different cost centers, depending on the multiple accounts worked on.
  • Prioritizing projects depending on the daily needs of the company, including field operations, account management and embedded inventory leadership.

 

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • 2-year EMR related experience strongly preferred
  • 3+ years Health Information Management related experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of MS‐Office at intermediate/advanced level and at least one year experience.
  • Experience in leading people strongly preferred
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-departmental environment
  • Excellent detail-orientation and accuracy with high volume environment
  • Ability to create and manage efficient processes and drive for increased productivity
  • Highly proficient at troubleshooting and problem-solving complex issues
  • Skilled at effective conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated effectiveness at coaching and mentoring others
  • Proficient in Excel for reporting

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:
$57,000$60,000 USD
