Job description

We’re hiring an Intern at Pearl—which places top 1% talent from around the world into operational roles at startups. We’ve bootstrapped our company to a couple of million in revenue and are adding ~$400K in annualized revenue each month to our topline. Our clients are fast-growing startups that have raised over $3B in funding from Sequioa, a16z, Founders Fund, Y Combinator, and other top VC firms.

I grew up in the Philippines myself—which is why I care so much about giving international talent opportunities to work at the best companies in the world) and most recently was investing.

This is a completely WFH opportunity where you’ll come in and help the recruitment team reach new heights. We’ll need someone who can overlap working ET hours.

The Role:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Internal Communication Intern to join our team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the way we communicate internally and externally by crafting content that informs, engages, and reflects who we are as a company.

What You’ll Do:

Internal Documentation

  • Create clear, engaging internal documents that reflect our company values and tone of voice
  • Support the creation of process documentation, onboarding guides, and internal newsletters

🧑‍💼 Candidate Profiles

  • Build compelling candidate profiles to present to clients—highlighting their skills, experience, and potential
  • Ensure all profiles and videos are consistent, polished, and on-brand

🎨 Content Creation

  • Assist in designing flyers and visual content for internal announcements and social media posts
  • Help craft outreach messages that are human, engaging, and aligned with our brand

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong writing and communication skills in English
  • A creative eye for design (experience with Canva or similar tools is a plus!)
  • A passion for storytelling, branding, and creating content that connects
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content best practices
