WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A strategic finance professional with a passion for building finance operating structures, piloting processes, and educating cross-functional teams. The Director Financial Strategy Operations will work closely with Strategy, Leadership, and Business Operations teams to drive financial insights and operational excellence.
A successful candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong collaboration skills, financial expertise, and the ability to work at multiple levels—from high-level strategy to day-to-day financial details. They will develop and execute robust financial analysis and modeling, provide forecasting insights, and assess pricing strategies to optimize profitability. With a keen eye on margin analysis, they will identify opportunities for improved financial performance and articulate key business impacts to stakeholders. This role requires the ability to engage with diverse teams and build trusted partnerships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong financial management and strategic analysis skills.
Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
Ability to collaborate and partner effectively with a variety of financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Highly adaptable and independent thinker.
Excellent communicator and strong time management abilities.
Experience with building and maintaining trust.
Effective analytical, modeling, and presentation skills.
High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
Prioritize, manage multiple projects, and effectively perform within tight time constraints.
Successfully perform in high-stress, fast-paced environments.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial forecasting and data analysis.
Develop and evaluate pricing strategies and structures to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
Build and maintain scalable financial models, providing data-driven forecasts and evaluating pricing strategies.
Conduct in-depth margin and profit analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Engage with the Opportunity Management (CRM), revenue tracking, and client reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast client revenue with a high degree of accuracy.
Coordinate, prepare, and compile data and insights for client presentations and strategic discussions.
Champion financial process improvements and support the strategic enhancement of client programs.
Work with The Opus Group Finance team on financial audits and strategic financial planning.
Contribute to the development of innovative financial models to support pricing and growth strategies.
Shape and execute strategic financial initiatives to optimize profitability and performance.
Develop and implement robust financial models, providing forecasting insights and evaluating pricing strategies.
Conduct margin and profitability analysis, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate client revenue forecasts and support strategic discussions.
Prepare and present financial data and insights for client presentations and leadership reviews.
Lead financial process improvements and enhance strategic operations for client programs.
Partner with The Opus Group Finance team on audits and long-term financial planning.

HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting wage for this role is between $110 an hour. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
