Job description

 
Job Summary

The Content Creator will aid instructors in creating and migrating content for online assessments. In this role, students will use their knowledge of statistics to create online problems. 

The successful candidate will be able to work with limited supervision, demonstrate trustworthiness by maintaining the confidentiality of course and assessment content, and be attentive to detail.   

The pay is $12.50/hr. It is a fully remote position; hours are flexible but we want students to commit to 10-20 hr/wk. Students can work remotely from within the US only. 

Job Duties
  • Verifying accuracy and robustness of problems in an online assessment platform  
  • Inputting problems into online assessment platform  
  • Creating new or modifying existing statistic assessment problems 

 
Working hours are flexible. This is a remote position.   

Required Experience
  •  Strong background in quantitative disciplines, such as Statistics or Mathematics 
  •  Able to work 10 - 20 hours per week  
  •  Ability to work independently and on a team  
  •  Effective communication skills (written & verbal)  
  •  Desire to learn and improve  
  •  Discretion in handling confidential information  
  •  Ability to quickly learn new software 
  • Have passed STAT 35000 with A or B grade (or equivalent courses in statistics) 
  • Currently enrolled student at the Purdue West Lafayette campus 

 

Preferred Experience:

Experience with SPSS software
