Job Title: Roofing Estimator

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Roofing Estimator to join our team. This role requires the ability to manage high-volume projects, meet strict deadlines, and provide accurate estimates for roofing projects. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner with strong analytical skills, capable of understanding job requirements and cost structures efficiently. While prior knowledge of the roofing permitting process is a plus, it is not required, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for roofing projects, ensuring all necessary costs, materials, and labor are accounted for.
Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and site conditions to determine the scope of work and pricing.
Ensure all documents, permits, and proposals are filed and organized without errors.
Manage multiple projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members to ensure a smooth estimation process.
Utilize CRM systems, PDFs, and estimating software to prepare quotes and track project progress.
Stay updated on industry pricing, material costs, and best practices.
Assist with learning and navigating the roof permitting process, as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software, processes, and pricing models.
Proficiency with CRM software, estimating tools, and PDFs (prior experience with roofing software is a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide top-tier customer service.
Strong time management and project coordination abilities.
Knowledge of roofing materials, measurements, and cost analysis (preferred, but not required).
