Position Overview: 

We have a temporary opening (3 months contract) for a certified Dynatrace Observability Consultant to join our team and work with our clients to implement and optimize their Dynatrace solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design and build custom metrics, and create intuitive dashboards that provide actionable insights into application and infrastructure performance.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote discovery sessions with clients to elicit detailed requirements for Dynatrace implementations 
  • Design and build custom metrics that align with client business and technical objectives 
  • Create tailored dashboards that visualize performance data in meaningful, actionable ways
  • Configure monitoring solutions using Dynatrace full suite of capabilities including Real User Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, Infrastructure Monitoring, Grail, OneAgent, ActiveGate, etc. 
  • Analyze client environments to identify optimization opportunities 
  • Provide recommendations for improving observability practices and monitoring strategies 
  • Document configurations and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to client teams 

  What will you bring to the role? 

  • Dynatrace Associate Certification (minimum) or more comprehensive
  • Experience implementing Dynatrace in enterprise environments 
  • Strong understanding of application performance monitoring concepts 
  • Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills 
  • Ability to translate technical metrics into business value 
  • Experience creating custom dashboards and visualizations 
  • Proficiency with Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) 
  • Understanding of microservice architectures and containerized environments 
  • Additional Dynatrace certifications (Professional or Expert level) 
  • Experience with related monitoring tools (New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) 
  • Background in performance engineering or site reliability engineering
