The opportunity

As Faculty Communications Facilitator, you will work within the Center for Online Learning and Teaching (COLT) to provide communications support for our Adjunct Faculty. You will partner with other teams across the university to provide email communications to online faculty. The primary responsibility of this role is to send and update faculty communications that align with a prescribed communication plan and ad hoc communications. You will maintain the communications schedule and associated activities to support faculty.

You will report to the Director of Faculty Support and Communications in this role. We are a remote friendly work environment #LI-Remote

You'll Get To:

  • Provide communication support which includes writing, editing, and sending email communications through an email automation system
  • Use PowerBI and internal information systems to maintain accurate faculty lists and provide communication data points
  • Help maintain communication updates within the adjunct faculty portal site
  • Manage projects to ensure daily workflows are prioritized within prescribed time frames
  • Manage internal and external communications assets, including photos, video footage, written communications
  • Develop communication plans that align with projects
  • Maintain email campaign schedule
  • Collaborate with other SNHU departments/teams to address communication needs

What we're Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2+ years of communications experience, specifically in higher education, where you gained experience doing the following:
    • Using an email automation system to create and schedule email campaigns (Mailchimp, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
    • Creating and writing communication plans
    • Writing and/or editing copy
    • Creating and managing communication assets
  • The ability to work with partners both one-on-one and in a team environment
  • Experience manipulating, summarizing, and analyzing data

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $46,894.00 - $75,045.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $51,878.00 - $70,107.00.
