Job description

Join our Sales Department as a Digital Account Manager in Bioprocess Solutions.

We are looking for a Digital Account Manager for our Sales department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for commercial activities for our bioprocess solutions portfolio and managing a variety of customers in Denmark and South of Sweden.

You will be based from home (ideally within the defined territory), with around 10%-20% travel.

Grow with Us – Your Responsibilities

  • Understand customers’ needs to promote the bioprocess portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets

  • Identify new prospects and establish business relationships with new potential clients

  • Support existing business within the assigned accounts, and upsell and increase revenue

  • Manage and grow current customer relationships and foster new relationships with new accounts to drive the business

  • Develop leads, maintain leads in CRM (Salesforce), respond to customer enquiries, identify and develop new business opportunities

  • Liaises with internal teams such as Application Specialists, Order Process Management, Sales Support, Marketing to utilise resources to support offerings throughout the entire sales process

  • Conduct presentations, organise demos, generate quotations, lead negotiations and close sales

  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities

  • Drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity

What will convince us

  • Minimum MSc degree in life sciences discipline or engineering or equivalent, higher level qualification would be beneficial

  • Understanding of biotechnology industry and bioprocessing solutions.

  • Demonstrated sales experience in biotech/pharma industry would be beneficial

  • Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment

  • Have excellent record management skills, use of CRM would be advantageous

  • Persistent, ability to prioritise and work in a fast–paced environment and embrace change

  • Strong organisational skills & ability to manage high variety of tasks

  • Creative thinker when it comes to problem solving, self – motivated and results oriented

  • Ability to work as part of a cross functional team

  • Fluency in English is a must, Danish and/or Swedish is a plus
