Looking for a meaningful telepsychiatry opportunity from the comfort of your home? Iris Telehealth is hiring a psychiatrist either licensed in Minnesota or with an active IMLC LOQ to provide essential care to underserved communities through 100% remote work, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. 

In this role, we have flexible scheduling options and are looking for a psychiatrist for 32-40 hours per week in an outpatient behavioral health setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology. With comprehensive administrative support, you can focus fully on patient care while expanding access to high-quality behavioral healthcare. 

 

About the Role: 

  • Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health clinic in Minnesota/Wisconsin (100% remote) 

  • Schedule: 32-40 hours/week Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm CST/ 9 am- 6 pm EST  

  • Appointments: 60-min. initial visits, 30-min. follow-ups with 60-min of admin. time daily 

  • Patient Population: Ages 18+ (30-40% geriatric patients) with diagnoses including mood disorders, anxiety, dementia, PTSD, ADHD, SMI dual diagnosis.  

  • Remote & Supported: Comprehensive behavioral healthcare system with a robust wrap-around services. You’ll have full support from onsite telehealth staff to handle rooming, vitals, labs, giving you more time to focus on what you do best—patient care!  

  • Timeline to start: May 2025

  • No on-call or supervision responsibilities!

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry 

  • Active medical license in Minnesota or an IMLC with a letter of qualification required (inactive MN licenses candidates will be considered. ) 

  • Availability for 32-40 hours per week, with the ability to work during EST/CST hours 

  • Experience with CMHC diagnoses and a willingness to treat patients with varying levels of acuity, from low to high.  

  • Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Active medical license in Wisconsin strongly preferred  

  • Telehealth experience, with knowledge of Epic EMR a plus.
