About The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Clinical Lead, the Senior Therapist is responsible for oversight of our clinical philosophy, programming model, and professional standards. The Senior Therapist demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and skill, provides clinical and administrative leadership, and training to Primary Therapists and other Clinical staff.
What You'll Do
Monitor group, individual, and/or family sessions and clinical documentation to assess quality and as a basis for providing feedback and training to staff;
Supervise assigned therapists, providing mentorship and development opportunities, while assuring annual and quarterly goals are being achieved;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care and that program and client goals are being met.;
Assist with leading care team pod in staff meetings to identify treatment barriers and a plan to move patient(s) forward
Attend multiple regular clinical team meetings
Be available for crisis consultation; rotate with other Clinical Leadership to support Care Partners and RN/Team Leads who are on call after hours;
Speak with clients, families/loved ones and referring clinicians, as needed;
Help develop group curriculums and ensures high quality of group therapy;
Collaborate with Team Lead (RN) to develop and improve upon clinical processes and procedures;
Collaborate with Team Lead (RN) with smooth step-down and discharge processes;
Participate in marketing, outreach, recruitment and hiring processes, as needed;
Serve as a liaison with other departments, as needed;
Manage a small clinical caseload while supervising primary therapists assigned to the Senior Therapist and assuring those cases are operating with clinical excellence
Facilitate individual, family and group therapy, as needed;
Participates in management training and leadership development
Other duties as required.

Must possess a Master's degree in a mental health related field
Current independent licensure in the state of employment with the ability to obtain independent licensure in the states requested by the Company
2 years of licensed experience in the mental health field
At least one year of experience in eating disorder treatment
Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field
Proficient in Google Workspace and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)
Excellent communication and people skills
Excellent clinical documentation skills
Aptitude for organizational and leadership skills
Skill in resolving issues and conflicts with the ability to make timely decisions on problems requiring immediate attention
Demonstrate a commitment to provision of excellent care, advancing clinical skills and a passion for professional development
Respect and maintain the confidentiality of all patient information
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Employees are required to read, review, prepare and analyze written data and figures, using a computer or similar, and should possess visual acuity.
This position answers and places telephone calls as well as video conferences and must be able to converse
Must be able to converse with colleagues via telephone and computer programs.
Must be able to operate a computer and navigate applications within a smart-phone, iPhone, MacBook computer and/or tablet.
Able to sit for the majority of shifts.
Must have reliable internet connection.
This is a work-from-home position. Work should be performed in a private, quiet space with minimal background noise.
Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
