A Day in the Life
As a Therapy Sales Specialist in Neuromodulation, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the market presence of Medtronic’s Neuromodulation product line. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to promote the benefits of our neuromodulation therapies, providing education and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Acts as commercial partner to the HCP and healthcare network while executing sales activities to grow market share (i.e. bring portfolio of products and services to the customer, and ensure continuous re-ordering and focused adoption of clinically sophisticated products and procedures). Next to commercial, negotiation and presenting skills, should also show technical expertise in devices / therapies to support in OR or clinically.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for the neuromodulation product portfolio.
- Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Conducts market research including customers and competitors’ activities.
- Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
- Conduct product presentations and training sessions for healthcare providers to enhance their understanding of Medtronic’s neuromodulation therapies.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support patient evaluations, device trials, and follow-ups to ensure successful therapy outcomes.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably in neuromodulation or a related field.
- Strong understanding of neuromodulation therapies and their clinical applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (Campania, Calabria, Sicily and Apulia) but also availability to travel within the Italian territory.
