Argano is seeking an experienced and results-driven Delivery Manager who will be responsible for both managing internal project teams and overseeing client-facing engagement activities. This role involves leading the delivery team to ensure effective project execution, managing resource allocation, and fostering team development, while also taking the lead on client interactions, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring project success. The ideal candidate will have a balanced skill set that enables them to successfully navigate the internal and external aspects of project delivery, client management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Management:
Full Accountability for Project/Account Success: Lead the execution and delivery of projects and ensure client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and addressing any feedback or concerns throughout the project.
Project Scope and Deliverables: Monitor and manage project scope, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to the client's expectations.
Steering Committee (SteerCo) Involvement: Actively participate in SteerCo meetings to present project updates, including progress, key achievements, risks, and challenges. Facilitate discussions to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives and client expectations.
Issue Escalation and Problem-Solving: Effectively communicate any escalations, issues, or roadblocks to the SteerCo, along with proposed solutions and action plans.
Resource and Budget Management: Collaborate with the project leadership team to provide insights on resource needs, budget tracking, and any adjustments required to meet project goals and timelines.
Resource Management
Team Management: Manage the team by setting annual goals, providing feedback, providing coaching/mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and resolving any conflicts that arise.
Timesheet & Utilization Management: Ensure timely submission of timesheets by the team and maximize utilization while minimizing bench time.
Resource Demand Planning: Forecast and manage resource demand based on upcoming projects, ensuring the appropriate resources are available and prepared to meet business needs.
Certification Goals: Establish and track certification goals for team members that align with Argano’s GTM strategy and Salesforce partnership specialization needs, ensuring team skills are up-to-date and match business requirements.
Vacation Approvals & Coverage: Oversee vacation approvals and ensure sufficient coverage for project resources.
Active Project Oversight
Project Health Monitoring: Regularly review the project’s health with PMs to ensure progress is on track and identify any issues early.
Governance: Oversee governance artifacts, monitor both client and internal project team sentiments, and proactively address any concerns or challenges as they arise.
Resource Needs Adjustments: Understand any changes in resource allocation and ensure updates are reflected accordingly in PSA.
P&L Management: Oversee the project’s P&L, addressing any budget risks or variances.
Scope Management: Manage project scope to avoid scope creep and ensure adherence to the defined deliverables.
Pre-Sales
Scope Understanding: Collaborate in understanding the scope of opportunities, reviewing SOWs, CRs, and associated financials.
Project Estimation: Contribute to project budget (hours and financials) and timeline estimation.
Discover Opportunities: Identify potential enhancement or cross-selling opportunities with active clients.
Skills And Qualifications
Proven experience managing and delivering complex enterprise grade Salesforce projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders effectively.
Assertive, with the ability to confidently lead client discussions, manage expectations, and address challenges at senior leadership levels.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and resources effectively.
Experience in managing project financials (P&L) and maintaining profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop teams.
Ability to handle project changes, including scope adjustments and resource allocation.
Education And Experience
10+ years of experience in Salesforce client success management and project management, with at least 5 years in delivery leadership and people management role.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field is required
PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
Master’s degree is preferred
Salesforce Consultant or Architect certifications are preferred
