Senior Software Engineer in Test (Cloud)

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Test (with Python) to join our 4 team members of quality assurance specialists, dedicated to testing and ensuring the robustness of our next-generation distributed NoSQL database. Your expertise will be pivotal in fortifying our DBaaS (Database as a Service) platform and contributing to its seamless functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Developing a variety of automated tests for Scylla Cloud
• Building and maintaining automated tests using Python and relevant testing frameworks to ensure the quality stability and reliability of the product.
• Writing tests such as integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, and many more.
• Own the testing automation for Scylla Cloud - developing, maintaining, and executing Backend end-to-end tests.
• Investigating test failures
  
  

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of Python automation development, preferably using PyTest.
• 3 years of experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Familiarity with modern tooling and CI infrastructure and practical experience building Jenkins pipelines
• Practical experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC)
• Experience with testing modern distributed systems (Databases, Storage, File Systems, etc.)
