We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer in Test (with Python) to join our 4 team members of quality assurance specialists, dedicated to testing and ensuring the robustness of our next-generation distributed NoSQL database. Your expertise will be pivotal in fortifying our DBaaS (Database as a Service) platform and contributing to its seamless functionality.

Responsibilities:
Developing a variety of automated tests for Scylla Cloud
Building and maintaining automated tests using Python and relevant testing frameworks to ensure the quality stability and reliability of the product.
Writing tests such as integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, and many more.
Own the testing automation for Scylla Cloud - developing, maintaining, and executing Backend end-to-end tests.
Investigating test failures
Requirements:
At least 4 years of Python automation development, preferably using PyTest.
3 years of experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems
Familiarity with modern tooling and CI infrastructure and practical experience building Jenkins pipelines
Practical experience with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC)
Experience with testing modern distributed systems (Databases, Storage, File Systems, etc.)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Practical experience with GitHub actions
Experience with GCP
Experience with K8s
