We are looking for qualified and motivated candidate for the role of
Senior Specialist Customs and Trade Compliance, based in
Sofia.
The opportunity
The
Senior Specialist Customs and Trade Compliance will become the SAP GTS expert of the Customs and Trade Compliance team. We are currently rolling out SAP GTS at all Teva’s locations globally. This position plays an important role in this roll-out:
- Determine customs classification for Teva products in GTS
- Maintain and analyze customs data in GTS to ensure compliance and to adhere to customs and trade regulations
- Writing manuals/work instructions
- This role requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional able to function in a complex, challenging and fast-paced team environment. Flexibility and adaptability are keys to success in this role. The candidate is capable to work independently and has a pro-active mindset.
This position will work closely with other departments such as IT and Masterdata.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Assign and maintain customs classification codes on global level
- Analyze customs masterdata to ensure compliance with customs and other applicable governmental regulations
- Support further roll-out of GTS functionalities; customs classification codes for indirect materials, country of origin, preferential origin etc.
- Assist in customs audits, business inquiries, projects and launches
- Develop and maintain customs reporting tools
Your Experience And Qualifications
- Relevant university degree
- 3 years of experience in customs classification and/or
- 3 years of experience in SAP (GTS)
- Experience in pharma or chemical industry
- Worked in an international environment
- Good with Excel
- Strong data analytical skills
- Eager to learn and adapt a new system
- Solid and flexible team player
- Strong communication skills
- Good level of verbal and written English
- Ability to work in a fast-changing working environment with tight deadlines
