You will be an integral part of the Markets Risk Product Team, working on Big Data applications that support key financial products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implementing technical solutions, ensuring best practices, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will contribute to building and mentoring a high-performing technical team, ensuring the right skill set is in place to support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with functional teams to implement business requirements, leveraging your expertise in Spark, Java, and Big Data technologies.
Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Support and guide the team in technical decision-making, providing expertise in Spark, Java, and GitHub workflows.
Analyze and resolve technical issues within Market Risk applications, ensuring system stability and performance.
Identify and drive improvements in technical processes, team maturity, and project execution efficiency.
Manage multiple projects and requests concurrently, ensuring successful delivery against deadlines.
Identify and address gaps in technical knowledge, facilitating training and mentoring initiatives.
