About the Role:


We are seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to join our team and perform several operational aspects of our payments platform. This role reports to our SVP of Payments and collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize payments needs. This role would be utility among multiple facets of the team working with customers on inquires, dispute management, and several other operational aspects for new and existing Cyncly customers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the SVP of Payments to implement and execute the Cyncly Payments strategy in alignment with company goals and priorities.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and errors
  • Work with customers to resolve payment issues or related questions
  • Manage the dispute process and assist merchants with response when needed
  • Assist with application completion for new payments customers
  • Assist when necessary, the scheduling and hardware ordering process
  • Provide daily reporting on activities to improve processes
  • Find ways to provide a better customer experience through product, process or communication
  • QA merchant data and system information for accuracy
  • Collaborate with technical and implementation teams to provide clients with the tools, training, and support needed for a seamless payment experience
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, issues, and resolutions to ensure transparency and continuity of service
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to internal teams about client needs, preferences, and pain points


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a software company with a Payments integration model.
  • Strong understanding of the payments industry and related products.
  • Proven ability to work within an integrated payments model and collaborate with multiple shared services in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a managed payment facilitation software company.
  • Experience working with Stripe on the custom connect platform is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address client issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (sales, product, technical support)
