Description
Responsible for supporting functional areas within Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, and Allocation (MP&A). Focus will include driving future technology roadmap discussions, supporting project work in the Blue Yonder application space on behalf of VS&Co technology, steady state support of current applications and processes, as well as ownership of defining requirements, scope and functional design for new development, enhancements, and break fixes. Oversee and support, when necessary, functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and own the functional technology release plans. Closely partner with peers and leaders in the MP&A technology team, peer technology partners, Function and Technical partners, and Business users. Oversee the technology solutions in the Merchandising and MP&A space span across vendor applications, internally develop custom built applications using Excel, SQL or database tools. Accountable for supporting growth and development of other team members through coaching, mentoring, and training to build skills and capabilities within the team and additional bench strength. Create and maintain strong partnerships and relationships with both Brand partners and other cross functional technology partners. Demonstrate functional expertise and application ownership of multiple areas and across multiple applications and/or systems, including Blue Yonder, Impact Analytics and/or custom build applications. Serve as the overall Functional Lead on multiple projects or large-scale complex programs; lead project workstreams including functional design/development activities, cutover planning, performance or UAT testing and post go live support. Research and triage new, uncommon and/or complex problems spanning multiple areas or systems/applications. Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices, to recommend process or existing technology enhancements and/or new technology for the MP&A space, with focus on Blue Yonder applications. Own creation of functional design, configuration, and final scope statement deliverables for enhancements or projects. Lead discovery and/or review sessions with vendors, business user groups and cross functional technical teams. Align functional design with technical requirements, and partner with vendors and technical team associates to build and deliver required technology solutions. Utilize and refine design for applications (enhancements or new requests) to ensure functionality and capabilities meet the business needs. Stay current on current Blue Yonder, and other industry leaders, solutions and features or capabilities to influence future technology for VS&Co. Establish and lead project meetings to ensure deliverables are met, ensuring meetings have agendas, objectives are clear, and meetings are facilitated effectively and efficiently. Coach and mentor other associates in the team and share knowledge to support balancing workload across the team, and depth in application support. Remote Work Available. Minimum Salary: $138,590.00
Maximum Salary: $171,360.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Requirements Include: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any field), Computer Science, or related field of study, and 10 years of experience, including 10 years of retail experience specifically in Demand and Fulfillment, Allocation and Merchandise planning; 10 year of experience with Agile Methodology, and ability to manage project deliverables and exercise flexibility when priorities change; 10 years of experience in creating detailed action plans and timelines for project work, functional and technical testing, user acceptance testing and training for both implementation of new technology solutions or enhancements work for existing technology already in use; 7 years of experience conducting discovery, requirement, and design sessions in support of defining new business processes, and/or designing and developing new technology solutions or enhancement to existing technology solutions; 7 years of experience with implementing and supporting vendor software solutions including Blue Yonder (F.K.A. JDA), Oracle and Azure databases, O9 Solutions, Impact Analytics, and other retail software vendors, or inhouse custom development merchandise planning, demand forecasting, and inventory deployment applications; Support 3 or more technology applications and automated processes, including end user support, issue identification and resolution, and testing of any break fix or technical changes required to ensure functionality is maintained and user needs are met; and support more than one Brand or Business unit user groups, across 2 or more product categories.
